How easy is it to assemble a pair of loudspeakers? ...... it's child's play
The cabinets are fully machined flat-pack MDF which means that no woodworking skills are needed. The crossover network will be assembled on a high-quality PCB requiring the minimum of soldering to connect the drive units. If you are unable to solder, then tell us at the time of ordering and we will attach gold-plated push-on connectors to the cables to make assembly even easier.
The cabinets are rebated, so they slot together and only need to be glued using a good quality PVA wood adhesive.
|SAND IT SMOOTH...
Once you have assembled the cabinets, lightly sand and prepare for finishing.
You can finish your cabinets in many different ways. The simplest method is to paint the boxes, but you can also veneer them.
The crossovers are ready assembled, leaving only the cables to be soldered onto the PCB using a high quality, lead-free resin cored solder.
Once the cabinets have been finished, the speakers are assembled and the drive units are bolted into place.
Finally cut the grille cloth to size and attach to the grille frame with a good quality contact adhesive.
